White Chocolate + Matcha Christmas Collagen Bark Recipe

Prep Time: 10 mins Inactive Time: 1 hour Total Time: 1 hour + 10 mins
Ingredients:
- 400g White Chocolate
- 2 tsp Coconut Oil
- 2 tsp culinary grade Matcha Powder*
- 4 tsp Adashiko Pure Collagen Powder
- 2 medium Strawberries, diced**
- Handful of White Chocolate Drops to top
- 1 tsp Dried Edible Flowers (optional)
Method:
- Line a brownie pan with baking paper - set aside.
- In a medium sized glass bowl, add the white chocolate, coconut oil, matcha + collagen powder.
- Place over a water bath*** + melt until tempered and smooth. There should be no lumps.
- Pour chocolate mixture into the lined brownie pan + spread out until even.
- Sprinkle over the diced strawberries + swirl in.
- Then sprinkle over the white chocolate drops + dried edible flowers (optional).
- Cover + place in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour until set.
- Once set, break up + store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Notes:
*Culinary grade matcha is slightly different at a molecular level ~ meaning you’ll get a stronger flavour. For this recipe, Ellen uses Matcha Made + also recommends Thea Matcha Latte Blend + Matcha Matcha Organic Culinary Grade Matcha. If you do not have culinary grade matcha to hand, sieve + mix in thoroughly just before adding to the brownie pan.
**If you are making this recipe in advance as a gift - try using broken up freeze-dried strawberries instead! They will last much longer.
***A water bath is a common method used for melting chocolate in which a glass bowl is placed over simmering water + stirred.
