Maintaining your Collagen Consistency over the Festive Season
When it comes to maintaining your health + beauty wellness over the festive season, consistency is key.
It’s less about routine + more about prioritising time for yourself to practice simple rituals that make you feel good + look good. Because when we feel good + look good we do good. And after the year we’ve all experienced we’re sure we could do with a little extra goodness in our lives.
Recently we chatted with 3 Lovers of Adashiko
We asked them about their summer plans, can’t-live-without Adashiko products and how they stay consistent with their daily dose of Adashiko over the festive season + summer.
Here’s what Claire Hahn, Cameron Jones + Korrin Barrett had to say…
Claire Hahn
What’s your Christmas / summer plans this year?
We’re still very much mid-reno at the moment, so we’re staying home this Christmas and keeping up with the grind. We also want to make the most of the spaces we’ve already created and enjoy our land. Whilst we’re not taking a holiday we hope to take in a few long weekends away to visit friends and end in the odd staycation or two in the city (Auckland) over the January / February event season.

I won’t go anywhere without my Collagen Balm! It’s the perfect little summer solver! I keep it in my handbag as it’s perfect for skin dryness, sore lips, accidentally sunburnt noses and itchy bites. I was thrilled to see it now comes in a bigger size.
How do you stay consistent with your Adashiko rituals throughout the Festive Season + summer?
It’s been hard staying consistent with my Ulta Collagen Powder ritual over the extended Auckland lockdown. I’ve found I’m an opportunist, popping it into everything I can to get my daily dose. Coffee, sauces, smoothies; if I can sneak some collagen in then I will.
What’s your favourite way to take your Adashiko?
My fav way to take my collagen powder is in herbal tea when I get back from the school run. A super-fruit infusion is my go-to.
What health + beauty benefits have you noticed?
I started taking Adashiko for my joint health after years of abuse from dance-life. It’s helped me avoid more intrusive intervention and the added bonus has been my incredible hair growth and strength.
Cameron Jones
What’s your Christmas / summer plans this year?
I’ll be spending Christmas in the Coromandel, New Year at Matakana, and then most of January back in the Coromandel running my BJJ retreat - which will involve boating, hiking, surfing, snorkelling and training. Definitely the highlight of the year, and the best season for me.
Tell us about your can’t-live-without Adashiko products…
The Collagen Ceramide Body Serum is great because I spend a lot of time in the sun, and the Collagen Cleanser is a winner because I do a lot of contact sports - so it’s good to keep the face clean. I also find the collagen cleanse bar far less abrasive than standard face washes for men. I’ve really seen a consistent improvement with my face skin quality.
How do you stay consistent with your Adashiko rituals throughout the Festive Season + summer?
I’ll take the cleansing bar and body serum with me like I would any other grooming product. It’s part of my routine now. Even more crucial with the long days in the sun and salt water.
What’s your favourite way to take your Adashiko?
I have a lot of smoothies / protein shakes after training, so I’ll take my Joint Collagen Powder in the smoothie to give it a boost. Otherwise I’ll mix it in with some oats.
What health + beauty benefits have you noticed?
My face never breaks out anymore. I’m noticing consistently good skin, too. The collagen powder has improved both my hair and joints. My hair is thicker and healthier, and I don’t get as many aches in my joints anymore.

What’s your Christmas / summer plans this year?
We’d hoped to have our son who lives in Australia here for Christmas, but unfortunately it’ll have to be by FaceTime again. So Christmas will be relaxing at home with our pup, Raymond, and maybe a few day trips out to the beach to celebrate the festive season with family and friends.
Tell us about your can’t-live-without Adashiko products…
The two products I can’t live without are the Ultra Collagen Powder and the Collagen + Noni Gel… although I can’t really live without all the other products either ;)
How do you stay consistent with your Adashiko rituals throughout the Festive Season + summer?
I take my products with me wherever I travel. The new size Collagen Powder travel sachets are super convenient. I always try to maintain my routine with cleansing then using the Collagen + Noni Gel and Collagen Hydra + Gold Serum, eye cream and the body serum. I find the Collagen Balm a lifesaver too, especially after too much sun!
What’s your favourite way to take / use your Adashiko?
I always have my Ultra Collagen Powder in my first hot drink of the day, whether it’s a cup of tea or hot lemon water. The Collagen + Noni Gel and Collagen Hydra + Gold Serum duo makes for a super luxurious day and night ritual, and I just love the fact all of the products are natural and sustainable.
What health + beauty benefits have you noticed?
My gut health has greatly improved since using the collagen powders and overall my skin and hair are in the best condition they’ve ever been. I also have a lot of scarring and have noticed huge improvements in this over the years. I love that I’m genuinely benefiting my body from the inside so the outside can glow.
